Reddit Toolkit
The Reddit toolkit connects Arcade agents to the Reddit API, enabling authenticated users to read, post, and interact with Reddit content programmatically.
Capabilities
- Identity & account: Retrieve the authenticated user's username and their own post history.
- Subreddit discovery: Check subreddit existence and accessibility (public, private, or restricted), fetch subreddit rules, and browse posts by listing type (hot, top, new, controversial) with time-range filtering.
- Post retrieval: Fetch the full content of a single post or batch-retrieve multiple posts in one request.
- Comments: Read the first page of top-level comments on a post, reply to existing comments, and add new top-level comments to posts.
- Content creation: Submit text-based posts to any accessible subreddit.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via Reddit. See the Reddit auth provider docs for setup instructions, required scopes, and configuration details.
