Zendesk Toolkit

The Zendesk toolkit connects Arcade to your Zendesk account, enabling agents to manage support tickets, retrieve conversation history, search the knowledge base, and inspect account context.

Capabilities

  • Ticket management: List tickets with offset-based pagination, add comments (public or internal), and mark tickets as solved with an optional final comment.
  • Conversation access: Retrieve all comments on a ticket — including the original description, author IDs, timestamps, visibility flags, and file attachments.
  • Knowledge base search: Search published Help Center articles by query text and/or labels, with combined multi-filter support in a single call and paginated results.
  • Account introspection: Fetch the authenticated user's profile, role, email, and organization details to provide agent context.

OAuth

This toolkit authenticates via OAuth 2.0 using the Zendesk provider. See the Zendesk auth provider docs for configuration details.

Secrets

  • ZENDESK_SUBDOMAIN — Your Zendesk account subdomain (the <subdomain> portion of https://<subdomain>.zendesk.com). You can find this in your browser's address bar when logged into Zendesk, or under Admin Center → Account → Branding. This value is required so the toolkit can route API calls to your specific Zendesk instance.

See the Arcade secrets configuration guide for how to store secrets. You can manage them at https://api.arcade.dev/dashboard/auth/secrets.
